Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By clicking the buy button you agree that you are buying a voucher on the terms set out here. 

This Website has been set up to help Merchants during the period of the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of the Website is to help Merchants sell Vouchers to their customers, which can be redeemed in the future for any goods and services they ordinarily sell.

 

  1. Definitions

 

1.1 In these Terms, the following words are defined and have a specific meaning:

“Chosen Merchant” means for any Voucher that Merchant that you have chosen to buy a Voucher from; 'Voucher’ means vouchers supplied by us for use by you to redeem for  Goods or Services from a Merchant.

'Goods' means any goods that are offered by a Merchant.

'Merchant' means those participating cafes delis restaurants and other hospitality providers that we are acting as agent for and that are set out on this Website.

'Services' means any services that are offered by a Merchant.

 ‘we', 'us' and 'our' are a reference to Mr & Mrs Downs Ltd,

'you' and 'your' are a reference to you.

 

  1. Operation of Website

 

2.1 We are acting as agents for Merchants.  We are selling Vouchers on their behalf, and collecting payment to remit to them. We are doing this in a not-for-profit fashion and do not charge you or the Merchants for this agent services.

2.2 The Chosen Merchant is the seller of the Voucher and is solely responsible for providing any Goods and/or Services that you choose to redeem your Voucher for.

 

  1. Purchase of Vouchers

3.1 Once a purchase has been made, no refunds or exchanges will be given except where required by law.

3.2 Vouchers are only redeemable in respect of the Goods and/ or Services as ordinarily available from the Chosen Merchant and will be subject to such terms and conditions as the Chosen Merchant may usually or reasonably apply to the provision of the Goods or Services. The redemption of the voucher for alcohol is that the descretion of the Chosen Merchant.

3.3 Each Voucher includes a unique code and can only be redeemed once.

3.4 The vouchers will be valid for  6 months after purchase.

3.5 Vouchers cannot be combined with any other offers, Vouchers, or promotions, unless otherwise specified by the Merchant. Vouchers are redeemable in their entirety only and may not be redeemable incrementally. The number of Vouchers which may be purchased by each Member in relation to a specific Deal will be determined by the Merchant.

3.7 The reproduction, sale or trade of any Voucher is prohibited unless expressly authorised by the Merchant or otherwise done so in compliance with the law.
